Terms and Conditions and Consent Form

1. Introduction to the Pet Loss Center 1.1. The Pet Loss Center is an educational program [Pet Loss Education] intended for: therapists, animal coaches, animal therapists, veterinarians, and those working in the helping profession. The courses are not intended for people suffering from diagnosed mental illness. 1.2. The Pet Loss Center was designed to provide high-quality, evidence-based content for therapists, animal coaches, animal therapists, veterinarians, and those working in the helping profession.

2. Structure of the Pet Loss Center 2.1. Online educational courses, private Facebook group support. Possibility to write email communications. The courses are not therapy. Each participant will receive a private link to the course, a PDF, and assignments to complete to verify their understanding of Pet Grief Support. Upon completion, participants will receive their certificate by mail with the title of the course they have completed.

2.3. Will the online content be available every Monday by email? 2.4. A 15-minute private coaching session is permitted once for the entire training and can be used at any time. Any subsequent individual meetings will be charged the same price as a consultation three months after the training has ended.

3. Relationship with the Pet Loss Center 3.1. The Pet Loss Center is managed by Brigitte Bérubé. She is a social work technician. 3.2. Although Brigitte Bérubé is a social work technician, the Pet Grief Support Program is not a psychology service.

3.3. By agreeing to participate in the Pet Grief Support Program and its courses, participants acknowledge that they are participating in an educational program and are not receiving therapy from Brigitte Bérubé. 3.4. To avoid any potential conflict of interest, clients of Brigitte Bérubé cannot be accepted as participants in the Pet Grief Support Program and its courses for at least 6 months following the cessation of therapy services provided by Brigitte Bérubé. 3.5. Similarly, participants in the Pet Grief Support Program and its courses cannot be accepted as clients of Brigitte Bérubé for at least 6 months following the end of the Pet Grief Support Program and its courses. 3.6. Any request for cross-referral or enrollment between former clients of Brigitte Bérubé and Centre du deuil animalier/Pet loss Center will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and will only be accepted at Brigitte Bérubé's discretion, based on individual circumstances. 3.7. If, during participation in the Centre du deuil animalier/Pet loss Center program, issues arise that, in Brigitte Bérubé's professional opinion, are beyond the scope of the coaching relationship, the participant may be advised to consult their general practitioner and obtain a referral to an appropriate clinician. 3.8. Brigitte Bérubé may, at any time and in its sole discretion, terminate a participant's enrollment in the Centre du deuil animalier/Pet loss Center program if Brigitte Bérubé deems it appropriate to do so. In the event of termination of a participant's registration in the Pet Loss Center program on this basis, a partial refund of the participant's registration fee may be granted.

4. Confidentiality and Disclosure of Personal Information 4.1. As part of your participation in the Pet Loss Center program, the Pet Loss Center must collect and record information about you. 4.2. We enclose a copy of our Privacy Policy, which we ask you to read and acknowledge your understanding before signing this document. 4.3. You will also find enclosed a copy of our: 4.3.1. [Participant Information Sheet] 4.3.2. [Waiver]; and 4.3.3. By email at your request. The accompanying course consists of 9 modules. 5 modules.

5. Technology Requirements 5.1. Pet grief support and its courses are provided online via our web portal and via video conferencing. You are responsible for the costs associated with setting up the technology necessary to access the online content and participate in the video conferencing sessions.

5.2. To access the Pet Loss Center content, you will need access to a [insert what each participant may need, both tactile (computer, video camera, speakers) and environmental (such as a private room or quiet space)]].

5.3. The confidentiality of any form of communication via the internet is potentially vulnerable and limited by the security of the technology used.

6. Terms of Purchase and Intellectual Property

[At a minimum, a terms and conditions document must seek to protect the company's intellectual property on its website and for any content available for purchase. The following terms are general, and independent legal advice should be sought regarding more complex issues of copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property protection.

6.1. The ABC Psychology website, its Pet Loss Center program, and all content provided thereon are the intellectual property of ABC Psychology.

6.2. The reproduction, exploitation, redistribution, or use of all or part of any visual, audio, or software elements or documents from the Pet Loss Center website or the Pet Loss Center program is prohibited.

6.7. Fees (depending on the course selected)

7.8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

7.1.8.1. Pet Loss Center will refund registration fees paid by any participant within 72 hours prior to the Pet Loss Center program start date.

7.2.8.2. After the course begins, a full or partial refund of registration fees will be granted at the discretion of Pet Loss Center, and generally only in cases where a participant's registration is terminated by Pet Loss Center in accordance with the terms of Part 3.

7.3.8.3. Pre-booked 1:1 private coaching sessions may be canceled by the participant up to 72 hours before the session time without penalty, but must be booked before the end of the 9-week Pet Loss Center program. No refunds will be offered for expired or unused 1:1 coaching sessions.

8.9. Consent to Participation in the Pet Loss Center Program

8.1.9.1. I confirm that I have read and understood the information contained in this document about the Pet Loss Center and I acknowledge the following:

8.1.1.9.1.1. The Pet Loss Center is a coaching service. Although the Pet Loss Center program is offered by Brigitte Bérubé, Social Work Technician, it is not a psychological service, and I will not receive psychological services, treatment, counseling, or therapy as part of my participation in the Pet Loss Center program;

8.1.2.9.1.2. I am not an existing client of Brigitte Bérubé, Social Work Technician, and I have not previously used the psychological services provided by Brigitte Bérubé, Social Work Technician;

8.1.3.9.1.3. Due to my participation in the Pet Loss Center program, I am not authorized to access the psychological services provided by Brigitte Bérubé, Social Work Technician, for a minimum period of 6 months following the completion of the Pet Loss Center program.

8.1.4.9.1.4. I have read and understood the Pet Loss Center Privacy Policy.
